Desktop Steward runs entirely on your computer. It has no account, no server and sends no telemetry.
It keeps copies of files it changes, and deleted files, under ~/.desktop-steward on your computer, readable only by your user account, for 7 days.
What Claude reads through Desktop Steward is sent to Anthropic by the Claude app in the same way as text you paste into a chat. See Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle it. Choose the readable folders with that in mind.
This website uses no cookies and no analytics beyond the request counts Cloudflare provides to every site it hosts.
